Claudia Stuart was born in Aalen Germany. She had a creative childhood in the nearby village of Westhausen with about 5000 inhabitants in the south of Germany. She went to school and eventually became a nurse. After having received her nurse's degree she travelled and worked in USA, Switzerland & Bermuda where she met and married her husband Bruce Stuart. She became a full time artist herself, always having been creative being a major asset to the process.
They moved to San Miguel de Allende in May 2006 and have been experimenting in various media ever since.
Claudia Stuart developed a special love for working with Inks on paper and creating Glassbeads from venetian glass, bottle glass and scraps of stained glass. Another form of glasswork called fusing brings exciting results too and sometimes she combines the two. She also works in Polymerclay, watercolor, collage, textiles...........
Jewelry-making, Doll- and Fairymaking are among her other passions.
